RIM has just released Facebook For Blackberry Version 1.9 into the Blackberry Beta Zone. Here’s the scoop:
Today, a new version of Facebook for BlackBerry is available in BlackBerry Beta Zone. Facebook for BlackBerry v1.9 offers exciting features, making it the most convenient mobile Facebook experience yet.
Key new features of Facebook for BlackBerry smartphones v1.9 include:
· Dedicated Inbox – View your Facebook messages in one separate inbox or within your BlackBerry messages inbox. The app pre-fetches 30 of your existing messages, and will then continue to sync messages on your BlackBerry smartphone with your Facebook inbox.
· Facebook Search – Search for individuals and pages, making it easy to find mutual friends, add friends and “like” pages. For BlackBerry 6 users, Universal Search will pull Facebook results too!
· Enhanced Friends List and Page List – View Friends profile photos and pages in list form
· Redesigned Navigation Bar – View your own profile and click on the Search and Message icons with the new navigation bar
You must be a BlackBerry Beta Zone member to try out the new Facebook for BlackBerry app. There are a limited number of spots for the beta, so don’t wait to catch the next social networking trend!
Find out more about Facebook for BlackBerry smartphones v1.9 at http://blogs.blackberry.com/2010/10/facebook-for-blackberry-v1-9-now-in-beta-zone/
I’m checking this out asap! Give it a go if you’re a BBBZ member and let us know how you’re liking the improvements.
Thanks

Android users may have woken up today to an update in their Market for Pandora Radio. If you didn’t get notification, head on over to the Android Market to check your downloads for an update. Pandora Radio has been updated to v1.5. From what I understand, this is a bug fix to fix some sound issues that were happening with the previous version.
Personally, I wasn’t having any issues and do not notice anything different in the update found today. However, it’s never a bad thing to update your apps.

The popular Android Twitter app, Touiteur, was updated today to v1.5. You can pick it up in the Android Market, and it comes in both a FREE and PREMIUM version.
QUITE a few changes were made so I am not going to list them ALL, but the change log can be found HERE and these are just a few of the updates that were made:
- Revamped tweeting box with new options
- Faster loading of new Tweets
- Much faster picture cache
- Fix for some missing mentions
- Adjust the picture cache size for more regular use
- Better handling of multiple casing for hashtag autocomplete
- Show <3 as ♥
- Add a confirmation dialog when (un)following/(un)blocking a user
Again, this is just a fraction of the changes, be sure to check out the full change log for the complete list of updates.

Looks like the WordPress app for BlackBerry devices got a little version bump overnight. You can now download v1.4.3 by going HERE via your device, or by simply opening up the current version of the app from your device, you should be prompted to download the newest version.
I’ve checked BlackBerry App World, and it’s not reflecting the latest update yet, but they say it should be soon!
Looks like this latest update fixes a bug with pictures via the app. I haven’t seen an official list of updates yet though, if I do, I’ll pass them along!

I have been using a Droid 2 review unit for a few days, and just got prompted to update to Android 2.2.20, which is a minor update that was pushed out to fix a few bugs. Users had the choice to manually update or wait for the OTA prompt.
Here’s a few of the "issues" that were speculated to be fixed with this push:
* Improved contact sync with Exchange email
* Fix to allow proper viewing of contact pictures when scrolling through the Recent Call log
* Enabled text and picture message scrolling
* Better set up of Visual Voice Mail
So, who got this update to their Droid 2? Notice any REAL changes?
Sorry for the obligitory "blurry" shot, but that was the best I could do at the time!
All of us here at TSR wish you a great Friday!

Good news for DROID 1 owners, looks like there actually WILL be a pushed update rolling out to you. Starting today, there will be a push to Motorola DROID 1 users that will allow you to download, from the market, the OFFICIAL Flash 10.1 update and install it on your device.
This is welcome news to DROID 1 owners that have felt like they were never going to see the official Flash update.

Just got word from WordPress that their popular app for BlackBerry users has gotten a slight update. The newest version available is 1.4.1, up from 1.4. Head into the app and check for updates, it should prompt you that there’s an update available to you.
What’s new, different, fixed, etc? Mostly bug fixes:
* Fixed empty title issue for those blogs with “Site Title” field set to and empty value;
* FIxed an issue on the comments screen that doesn’t permit editing of comments with weird characters within URL or email field;
* Introduced a better integration with the VideoPress service and the WordPress.com Space-Upgrade option;
* Added support for the blog shortcut icon;
* Other minor bug fixes
Head on over to this release post to see what else is in store (WP now supports a whole fistful of languages, and they’re looking for more translators).
Happy blogging!!

The folks at SimplyTweet just released the latest version of their popular Twitter app to version 3.1.1 – you can pick up the latest update in iTunes App World. The change log is giant, but here are just a few of the highlights:
* Add support for Instapaper Mobilizer (enable in Settings app)
* Search timeline now loads 200 when loading older tweets
* Add bookmarking service (Instapaper or Read It Later, depending on settings) to swipe menu options
* Show thumbnail in tweet view for TweetPhoto and Pic.gd
I could go on and on, but I’m going to direct you to the changelog to read the full list of changes! Head on over here: http://post.ly/hF6K to check it all out!
Does anyone use this app? What do you think of the changes?
